Well, well, well, look what we have here! This here is about that fancy watch, the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Skywalker X-33. I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market. They say it’s somethin’ special. I don’t know much about these fancy things, but I’ll tell ya what I heard.
This here watch, it’s called a “Speedmaster” somethin’ or other. And it’s got “X-33” in the name, too. Sounds like somethin’ out of one of them space movies. This watch, it ain’t cheap. Nope. But I reckon it must be good for that kinda money. This Omega Speedmaster, they say it’s for them astronaut folks. The ones that go up in them rockets. Can you believe it? People goin’ up to space! Back in my day, we were lucky to go to the next town over!
This X-33 Skywalker, it’s big, too. About 45 mm, I hear. Made outta somethin’ called “titanium.” Strong stuff, they say. Stronger than my old iron skillet! It’s also got this black dial with an LCD display. I don’t know what that is exactly. Sounds kinda complex and it can probably show you a lot of stuff. Like the date and all of them other things. People like that sort of thing, I guess. Me, I just need to know when it’s time to feed the chickens.
They say this watch is an “upgrade” from some older one. One from way back in 1998. Time sure does fly, don’t it? This new one, it’s got all sorts of doohickeys. A special “quartz” movement. Sounds fancy, don’t it? They say it’s a “chronograph,” too. I don’t know what that means, but it probably does a whole lot of things. It is also the first battery powered one in their collection! I reckon that’s why it costs so much. A lot of work goes into these things, I suppose.

Some folks say this Omega Speedmaster X-33 is a “bargain.” A bargain! For a watch that costs more than my whole darn house! But they say it’s worth it. ‘Cause it’s got “space history.” It’s been to space! I guess that’s somethin’. I wouldn’t know. I ain’t never been further than the county fair.
This watch, it’s got a special movement, the “OMEGA calibre 5619.” Sounds important, don’t it? And it’s got somethin’ called an “alarm.” Like a rooster, but fancier, I reckon. You can find one for a good price, too. If you look around hard enough. I wouldn’t know where to look, though. I get all my stuff at the general store. This watch, it is good for people who like to grab and go, it is easy to use.
Now, they used to have another watch, way back when. The “CK 2915.” That one had a different movement. The “Omega Calibre 321.” Made by some fella named Albert Piguet. Sounds French, don’t it? That old watch, it was used in them “Apollo missions.” That’s when they went to the moon! Imagine that! Goin’ to the moon. We didn’t even have a television back then.
This new Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X-33, it’s somethin’ else, I tell ya. It’s for them space explorers. The ones that go up in them rockets and do them “space walks.” Sounds dangerous to me. I’d rather keep my feet on the ground, thank you very much. I think this watch, it is good for them. It meets all their requirements.
Well, that’s all I know about this here CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Skywalker X-33. It’s a fancy watch, that’s for sure. Too fancy for me, I reckon. But for them astronaut folks, it’s probably just what they need. I’m gonna go tend to my garden now. Got some tomatoes that need pickin’.
You young folks and your fancy gadgets. In my day, we didn’t need all this technology to tell the time. We had the sun, and we liked it! This Speedmaster watch, well, it is something, I guess.
