Okay, so, I’ve always been into watches, you know, the really nice ones. And recently, I thought, why not try to make my own version of one of those super fancy ones? And you know what? It held up. Sure, it’s not a real Patek Philippe, and anyone who really knows their stuff could probably tell the difference, but for me, it was close enough.
In the end, I learned a ton about watches, about what makes them tick, literally. And I got myself a pretty sweet-looking timepiece without having to sell a kidney to afford it. Would I recommend doing this? If you’re into watches and you like a good challenge, yeah, definitely. It’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it.
