So, I’ve been eyeballing this OMEGA Speedmaster “Silver Snoopy Award” 50th Anniversary watch for a while now. It’s a real looker, and it celebrates 50 years since that whole NASA/Snoopy/Apollo 13 thing, which is pretty darn cool if you ask me.

I kept checking back, like, every few hours. I was persistent, you know? I really wanted to snag one of these bad boys. I even tried at different times of the day, thinking maybe they restock at certain times. I did everything I could think of.
The Snoopy Struggle
It became a bit of a saga, to be honest. The whole “out of stock” message started to haunt my dreams. I’d wake up in the middle of the night and instinctively check the website. I was totally obsessed and could not focus on anything else.
Ultimately, I never managed to buy the watch. Maybe it’s for the best. Maybe my wallet is thanking me. But part of me is still a little bummed. It’s a cool piece of history, and it would’ve been awesome to have it on my wrist. Oh well, maybe one day!
